Vicky Piria

Vittoria has raced from go-karts to single-seaters, beside experiences in Touring cars. In 2010 she raced for two years in Formula Abarth, Italian and European championship. She started 16 GP3 races in 2012, then competed in Euro Formula 3, finishing 4th in Jerez and at Le Castellet. Meantime in the USA, Vicky also trialled Pro Mazda. Late 2018, Vicky has been selected by brand-new and innovative W Series and went through the first tests to be part of the last 28 contenders.

After four days of on-track action, during which the 28 drivers vying for a place on the W Series grid completed 3,000 laps of the Circuito de Almeria, the final line-up has been announced. Eighteen women representing 13 nationalities will be making history by racing in the first ever all-female single-seater racing series; four more have been nominated as reserves. And Vicky Piria is part of it, making a comeback in single-seaters 5 years after his last races. The Italian was amongst the quickest drivers on track.
